Q.How old does my dog need to be to have its ears cropped?

A.As long as the animal is 8 weeks of ages. It is a cosmetic surgery procedure, so it can be done at any age, even if the animals is several years old.

A.It can be done at any age, as long as the dog is 8 weeks or older. Just remember prices goes by weight.

A.Usually between 10 and 14 days after surgery.

A.Yes, after surgery you need to separate your dog from other animals until about a week after the stiches are removed.

 

Q.Does my dog need to wear a cone collar after surgery?

A.We highly recommend wearing one. A cone collar will prevent the dog from scratching out the stiches.

 

Q.When can I feed my dog after picking him up from surgery?

A.We do not recommend feeding your dog any food or water until it is fully awake, which in most cases may not be until the following morning.

 

Q.How long does my dog need to wear a cone collar?

A.We recommend wearing a cone collar until the stiches have been removed and the ear has fully healed.

 

Q.Can I bathe my dog after surgery?

A.Yes, you can bathe your dog after surgery but do not allow the ears to get wet.
